Carbotech is the name Panerai gives its black marbled case; on our photos the marbling is different on every watch.
The 47mm PAM616 has beige numerals and a blue small seconds hand, the 42mm PAM960 turquoise lume, and the 42mm PAM2231 prints the Submersible name in blue. For a blue dial, the 44mm PAM1232 pairs the dark case with deep blue, and the PAM979 has a mottled grey Marina Militare dial. Our guide to Carbotech, Bronzo and other cases explains the materials Panerai uses.
Two models carry the older Luminor Submersible name in our catalog. The 47mm PAM389 Amagnetic has a black dial and a black rotating bezel, and the PAM382 pairs a dark green dial with a bronze tone case and a brown strap.
At 47mm the Submersible is the largest Panerai we carry: the PAM984 with a grey sand-textured bezel, the Mike Horn PAM985 with bright blue lume and the PAM1039 with a woven grey dial and orange hands. Most of the range is 44mm. Five models are 42mm, among them the PAM1055 with a matte green dial and the PAM974 in a rose gold tone case.
QuarantaQuattro means 44 in Italian, and these are the 44mm Submersibles: the white PAM1226, the emerald PAM1287 Verde Smeraldo, the dark grey PAM1288 Grigio Roccia and the blue PAM1289 Blu Profondo. The Navy SEALs models carry the unit's name on the dial, like the grey PAM1323 with a GMT hand. The Bronzo models have bronze tone cases: the 47mm PAM968 with a brown dial and the 42mm PAM1074 Blu Abisso with a navy one.
For a Submersible with a display caseback, SuperClone is the usual pick: an automatic movement built to Panerai's own design, with a 72-hour power reserve and sapphire crystal. AAA costs less and has a Japanese Miyota movement, sapphire crystal and a 904L case on the steel models; A Grade, at the lowest price, has a Chinese movement and mineral crystal. Each product page lists the price of every tier for that model. The SuperClone tier guide compares all three.
Every order starts with 8-12 QC photos and a video of your actual Submersible, sent within 3-5 business days, and nothing ships until you approve. Delivery is free and tracked with DHL or FedEx in a plain unmarked box. If customs charges a fee, we refund it, and if the parcel is held, we refund the fee or reship at our cost. You also get a 14-day money back guarantee.
