Black dial with beige 12, 3 and 6
The Panerai Luminor Marina PAM434 is a Marina without a date window, so a beige 3 sits where most Marinas show the date. Beige 12 and 6 complete the numerals, beige batons mark the other hours, and the hour and minute hands are beige with lume along almost their full width. The small seconds dial at 9 has its own beige hand. LUMINOR MARINA is printed under the 12, and above PANERAI near the 6 sits a small boat emblem.
Engraved caseback and suede strap
The 44mm steel case is polished, with the crown guard bridge and lever on the right flank. The back is solid, engraved with a picture in the centre and OFFICINE PANERAI and STAINLESS STEEL around the rim. The strap is honey brown suede with cream stitching and two keepers, closed by a polished pin buckle signed PANERAI. The side view shows the knurled crown under the bridge and the screw that holds the lever.
PAM434 next to the PAM372 and PAM1025
The time-only PAM372 in 47mm is even simpler, with hours and minutes only and no seconds hand. The black sunburst PAM1025 has the same beige on black look with a date at 3 and a seconds subdial at 9. Our Luminor Marina replica history shows where these references sit in the line, and all Luminor watches, with and without a date, are listed together.
Does the PAM434 have a date?
No. The dial shows hours, minutes and small seconds at 9; the 3 is a numeral.
Is the PAM434 caseback solid or transparent?
Solid steel, engraved, with OFFICINE PANERAI and STAINLESS STEEL around the rim.
